Transform the
Relationship
with your dog
A very important message
by Angel Ortiz:
THIS MESSAGE WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Dear friends:
Thank you! Thank you for your time, support, and attention.
Many of you know me as Angel, the dog trainer from PerrosPR. After 16 years in the industry, hundreds of dogs trained, and countless students happy with the results of their training, I have learned a very important fact.
For exceptional and LONG LASTING results in dog training:
the OWNER needs to be a fundamental part of the entire training PROCESS.
Instant Gratification
We live in a world where EVERYTHING is at our fingertips. We can take out our cell phone and in SECONDS have access to comforts NEVER before imaginable. From UBER, to DoorDash, AirBNB and Tinder, the world is ready to please our every desire.
There are so many comforts in modernity that we have become ill acquainted with this cycle of instant gratification.
The Wizard of Dogs
Consequently, many dog owners would like to be able to open up an app, push a few of buttons and have a dog trainer appear in their homes. The trainer will then magically solve all the dog’s behavioral problems in an instant.
Given this phenomenon, many trainers are forced to offer this “magician” service, and even market themselves that way in order to satisfy the demand.

But Beware!
After more than a decade of experience in training all types of dogs, with great confidence I can tell you that this is NOT the way to obtain real and LASTING results with your training.
The PROCESS of creating the ideal RELATIONSHIP
For me, training is the process through which we create the ideal relationship with our dogs. Keywords: PROCESS AND RELATIONSHIP.
Process
Learning any skill takes TIME, EFFORT, REPETITION, and ADJUSTMENTS, and dog training is no different. As much as we would like to instantly solve the behavioral problems of our dogs, we must recognize that any PERMANENT behavior modification involves TIME, EFFORT, a lot of REPETITION and many ADJUSTMENTS along the way. And in the particular case of dog training, both dog and human have to participate in this PROCESS.
Relationship
Dogs are social beings that coexist in groups that have ranks and hierarchical structures. You see, like humans, dogs behave differently with different members of their packs according to their ranks in the hierarchy. I don’t have the same type of relationship with my mother as I do with my brother, or with my friends. Through time and lived experiences, different types of relationships are developed with the people around us.
For this reason, we say that the owner HAS to be a FUNDAMENTAL part of the PROCESS of EDUCATING their dog.
Why? So that through time and lived experience, we can develop the ideal relationship. A relationship in which the dog knows how to behave and knows how to lovingly respect its owner.
RESPECT IS EARNED.

The power of creating the ideal relationship with your dog is in your hands!
Look at it from this point of view…
In all my years of training dogs, I have NEVER taken a single dog home for training, and then hand it over to the owner as a “fully trained dog”. Why? Because I recognize that the training PROCESS is the way in which we develop the ideal RELATIONSHIP with our dogs, and this involves TIME, EFFORT, REPETITION and ADJUSTMENTS.
If I take the dog home for training, indisputably the dog will become a training SUPERSTAR, and will have an optimal relationship with me, his trainer, because we went through the PROCESS TOGETHER.
But, when the dog returns home, since the owner was NOT A FUNDAMENTAL PART OF THE TRAINING PROCESS, AND DID NOT DEDICATE TIME, EFFORT, REPETITION OR THE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE PROCESS, eventually the OWNER will return to the bad habits of the past that were the INITIAL CAUSE of the unstable RELATIONSHIP. Consequently, the dog WILL RETURN to its bad behaviors, because the owner has DEFICIENCIES IN HIS KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING TECHNIQUE. Also, THE DOG WILL NOT RECOGNIZE THE OWNER AS HAVING THE AUTHORITY TO LEAD HIM. Again, RESPECT IS EARNED.
In this way, cyclically, the dog will require continued training classes to modify its behavior; when the real solution lies in EDUCATING THE OWNER IN EVERY ASPECT OF DOG TRAINING ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Structure
Many years ago, my guitar teacher told me:
“Practice playing the guitar so your fingers can do what you want them to do. Study music theory so you know where your fingers can go to. Play with others to accelerate your growth.”
Based on this learning structure I designed my Dog Training Program, which has given AMAZING results to my students.
The Program has 3 very important components:
THEORY, PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY.
Theory
When we talk about theory, we refer to the academic study of Dog Training; the different styles, how they work, their foundations and their basic principles. It is important to know what to do and what NOT to do during any daily life situation with your dog.
Our mission is to provide you with all the knowledge and all the necessary tools that you will need to succeed in any situation with your dog. We want you to develop and maintain an ideal relationship with your dog FOR LIFE.
Practice
When we talk about Practice, we refer to the activity of systematically putting into ACTION everything learned during the study of theory. The goal is to provide you with the training exercises (appropriate and necessary for your individual situation) that will permanently heal the relationship with your dog and accelerate its growth.
It is important to have dog training knowledge, BUT it’s even MORE important to have EXPERIENCE doing it. Through practice and repetition we can develop the effortless and decisive authority needed to properly lead our companions. This way, when an unwanted situation arises, there is no longer any need to think. We simply act and flow from a point of wisdom and experience.
Community
Theory and Practice give us knowledge and experience while the Community keeps us accountable, pushing and encouraging us to work harder in order to achieve our goals.
As your Personal Dog Training Coach and Teacher, my responsibilities include overseeing your daily progress, challenging you through the various phases of the program, celebrating your victories, and guiding you through the challenges, while making your EDUCATIONAL PROCESS fun and unforgettable. We also place a lot of emphasis on the learning experiences that occur among the students of the Program themselves. For this reason, we provide additional members-only group classes and workshops.

Are you READY to START?!
This program is NOT for everyone
This training program IS NOT DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE! As your Personal Coach, I will be investing A LOT of TIME, A LOT OF ENERGY AND A LOT OF PASSION to give you the RESULTS you want.
This program is for:

2) People who UNDERSTAND that they can NOT take their dogs to the store to get “fixed” and become well-behaved without having to get involved in the PROCESS.
3) People who UNDERSTAND that true TRANSFORMATION lies in the PROCESS of developing an IDEAL RELATIONSHIP with their dog.
4) People who VALUE the experience of lifelong learning.
5) People willing to WORK hard and intelligently to get what they want.
6) Entrepreneurs, workers, mothers, and all those people with complicated lives who do NOT have MUCH TIME to train their dogs but want TRUE and LASTING changes.
7) People looking for the most EFFECTIVE and MOST EFFICIENT STRATEGIES to achieve incredible results while maximizing their TIME.
